Removal of obstructions.
27.
The Harbour Master may, by written notice, require any person to remove, within a reasonable time to be specified in such notice, any obstruction, whether floating, submerged or sunk, in the waters of the Colony, caused by such person or belonging to him or in his charge or keeping; and if such person fails to remove the obstruction within the specified time, the Harbour Master shall cause it to be removed, and may recover the expenses of removal from the person named in the notice; or, if no such person can be found, the obstruction, when removed by the Harbour Master, may be sold to defray the expense of such removal.
